| Lucky's Lobsters Swim Team is dedicated to improving self-esteem while fostering a love for the sport of swimming. We strive to teach life lessons and to build a sense of teamwork in each of our members. Lucky's Lobsters Swim Team is open to swimmers of all levels of experience ages 6 years and older. | |
| WBGC is located in Woburn, Massachusetts and offers both year-round competitive and non-competitive swimming. WBGC swim team competes as a member of the Northeast New England Area Program Council (NENEAPC) Boys & Girls Club League and US Swimming and is under the leadership of head coaches Anthony Fiore and Dave Houghton. | |
| The NENEAPC league is comprised of 15 area Boys and Girls Clubs. These dual meets begin in mid-October and run through January and are usually held on Saturdays. We participate in about 10 meets, with half held at home. The season ends with the sectional (championship) meet in February. Each swimmer must participate in at least half of the meets in order to qualify for the sectionals. | |
| US Swimming is for those athletes who desire a higher level of competition. There are two seasons for US Swimming. The short-course season begins in October and ends in February. These meets are held in 25 yard pools throughout New England. The long-course season begins in late April and ends in July. These meets are held in 50 meter pools throughout New England. The U.S. meets will not overlap the league meets. There is a separate annual membership fee for participation in this program. |
