Rules & General Information
SWIMMERS
MUST SIGN IN AND OUT AT THE FRONT DESK.
THE CLUB IS OFF LIMITS. Parents are not allowed in the club at
any time. They may be on deck only and not in the game room
during practices.
Pool Deck Policies:
- If you are going to enter the deck area PARENTS MUST ALSO
SIGN IN AT THE FRONT DESK.
- Parents are allowed to sit at the table or in the bleachers.
- I also have to ask that you try and keep the noise level
down. As you may have noticed the acoustics in the pool are not
that great and we need the swimmers to be able to hear our
instructions.
VOLUNTEERS ARE ALWAYS NEEDED!!!
Please speak to a member of the coaching staff if you can help.
:
We have 9 dual meets and a championship meet between November and
February (kids need to participate in 5 meets to qualify for
championships). We have many kids that practice but do not compete
on a regular basis. Most of the
meets
are held on Saturdays.
:
The membership fee to the Boys and Girls club is $25 and there is a
$130 Swim team fee. Discounts offered for two or more siblings in
the program (see application).
Basically we provide practice 10 months of the year taking April and
August off. The cost is minimal and I like to think we have a
pretty good reputation.
:
Some of the members also are registered as US Swimmers where they
compete in extra meets during our Boys club season (Nov – Feb) and
throughout the spring and summer. When your child reaches that
level I can explain more…… it is voluntary not mandatory and there
are additional fees. Check out
www.neswim.com for more info on US Swimming.
You can still sign up for US Swimming, there is open enrollment all
year. Please speak to a member of the coaching staff if your child
is interested.
